Ways to help you master our software
xTuple provides many - from online videos and guides, to classroom training in our Norfolk HQ or remote locations, to distance learning offerings, to tech-focused meetups. Take advantage of the free resources and/or contact us for paid training at our site or yours.
Please select one of xTuple's educational training options below:
We offer a series of formal classroom training, ranging from the basics of xTuple and ERP systems in general, and branching out into more advanced user, administrator and developer classes. All classes are held in our Norfolk, Virginia, headquarters' training facility, unless otherwise noted. More
xTuple hosts frequent online events for training and product demonstration. We have a recurring series of free webinars to demonstrate product features such as CRM and accounting, and we host occasional paid training webinars as well. More
While our in-classroom training classes are always well attended and offer great opportunities to network and share with other xTuple users, travel to the U.S. is not always practical – or affordable – for everyone. For users looking for a different kind of help, we offer live, online classes – where you learn at the convenience and comfort of your own computer – on subjects such as Project Management and Implementation Methodologies and Accounting for Non-Accountants. While not intended as a replacement for classroom training and the power of face-to-face networking, these courses are great ways to help users become proficient with xTuple software. More
The xTuple Demo Videos provide a quick way to jump into the software. You will find everything from an introduction to xTuple ERP to the latest advanced features of the software. More
John Rogelstad, Vice President of Software Development @xTuple, invites you to attend xTuple TechMeetups. Held at our headquarters in the “innovation corridor” of downtown Norfolk, Virginia, these periodic FREE events will bring you, our developer community, up-to-date on leading edge, next generation software programming, especially focused on open source. Networking and refreshments provided. Check the Calendar. More
We offer special training for accountants and CPAs to get to know xTuple, and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits are available for every event offered, unless otherwise noted. xTuple financial management software gives growing companies the functionality they need at a price they can afford. For CPAs and accountants seeking an alternative solution for their clients who have perhaps outgrown entry level packages, xTuple is an affordable solution that grows with their clients. More

Distance Learning Survey
xTuple's Online Training / Distance Learning program is Computer-Based Training (CBT) offered as instructor-led or self-paced options.
What type of training will meet your needs?
"Anyone who is responsible for the care and feeding of a production installation of xTuple should attend the Power User Training. The course provides many opportunities to build your expertise no matter how advanced you are now. The ROI is immediate and significant. I would have been very disappointed if I had passed on this course."
--Martin Aherron, Cybernetics
"I did NOT want to attend the Introduction to xTuple ERP course. I have 20 years of ERP experience in several packages and within several industries. I didn't think that an 'introduction' class was going to teach me anything new. I held my nose and kept an open mind, and after the first few hours, I was glad I had come. The course turned out to be a good investment, even for someone with my experience. The instructor led us at an easy pace through lecture, demonstration, and hands on configuration of the xTuple ERP application. By the last day we 'opened' our practice companies for business and were able to completely understand how the data flows through the business model."
