The Yellow Dog wireless solution allows you to implement a wireless bar coding solution into your warehouse. It is specifically designed to work with xTuple ERP. The solution enables you to move transactions to the shop floor and warehousing areas.

About the Software

The Yellow Dog wireless software allows you to perform transactions in real time ensuring that inventory levels are up to date in the xTuple ERP system. Transactions supported include inventory transfers, inventory issue and returns to work orders, inbound purchase order receiving and outbound sales order shipping. We have also included the ability to print raw material labels upon receipt of purchase order items as well as the ability to print packing slips while shipping.

License Fees and Costs

The license fee is per hand held device. The cost per device depends on whether you want an annual or perpetual license. Pricing is $500 annually per hand held device, or $1,500 plus annual maintenance fee of 18% for perpetual license per hand held device. (Note: We do not sell the hardware, only the software.)

An additional $500 installation support fee will be charged at the time of installation (this is a single fee--not per user). The support fee includes:

• Assistance with installing the business logic on the wireless server or workstation
• Assistance installing the print Manager on to the wireless server or workstation
• Providing the database script to add the tables needed for the application
• Assistance with testing connectivity between the telnet session, the business logic layer, the print manager and a test instance of xTuple.
