We probably don't have to tell you how big the market opportunity is. Our company was originally founded to bring the benefits of sophisticated Enterprise Resource Planning software to smaller companies, notably manufacturers - and as the OpenMFG ERP Suite has grown over the years, we have done just that. But we've just scratched the surface: there are 300,000 manufacturing companies in the U.S. alone with sales of $1-50 million. And the global market for manufacturing is many times that. But what about distribution? Retail? Professional services? Government? Nonprofits? Medical? All these types of organizations need ERP too, but they probably don't need manufacturing. And now, with the introduction of the open source PostBooks product, we have an offering for those markets that will be hard to beat. We think you'll agree there are lots of people who could use a product like this. We need you to help us reach them. OpenMFG, our flagship enterprise product, is paid software. xTuple VARs earn generous commissions on sales of OpenMFG software, as well as the full host of other xTuple offerings, including PostBooks support packages and PostgreSQL database offerings. But we believe you'll make the bulk of your business on implementation services - working with OpenMFG and PostBooks customers to get the software up and running at a local customer site, capturing (and perhaps coding) any required enhancements to the base product. 100% of that implementation (and software development) revenue is yours to keep. We can help - as much or as little as you require. Pre-sales, sales and marketing, demos, technical assistance, data migration, development, training, you name it. We are here for our partners, and we do not compete with them. The business we are building is a strong channel business, which leverages the advantages of open source to the benefit of all concerned (customer, partner, vendor). xTuple holds regular week-long training events on PostBooks and OpenMFG functionality and reporting (intended for operational users), as well as developer-oriented technical training. These classes are open to the public, and the cost is $2,000 per student. As you'll see, each of our partner programs include training seats as part of the package, so they largely pay for themselves right out of the gate. Below is a breakdown of the benefits and costs associated with each level of the partner program. For every level of the program, you have full access to the source code and all documentation, as well as unlimited help with marketing, pre-sales, and sales engineering.
