We were on the bottom end for the size of a company that can move to an ERP system. We were also at the top end in size of a company that can use QuickBooks. xTuple is focused on their clients’ needs. The website, community, and training classes are a big help.
How do I login to PostBooks?
Launch the xTuple Desktop Client application
After you have downloaded the xTuple Desktop Client Installer and run it, you will have the application installed on your local computer. Locate the installed application on your computer and launch it.
Login to a Free Trial database
If you registered for a Free Trial of the xTuple Cloud Service, you will receive an email with login instructions for the Desktop Client (email subject is "Your xTuple ERP Free Trial is ready!"). The email includes the information you need to enter into the login screen of the xTuple Desktop Client.
Username: Your username will be the email address you used when you registered for the Free Trial.
Password: You will receive an email with a one-time login and a temporary password when you first apply for a new account. You should follow the one-time login link to reset your password before your Free Trial is approved.
Server: The server will be [Cloud ID].xtupleserver.com, where [Cloud ID] is the Cloud ID you entered when you applied for the Free Trial.
Port: Port is a number. It is unique to your Free Trial account.
Database: You have two databases with your Free Trial, called "demo" and "quickstart". Enter one of these database names in the Database field. We recommend you begin with the Demo database.
Click the LOGIN button after you have filled in all the fields.
