Introduction to the Program
The market opportunity is huge. Our company was originally founded to bring the benefits of sophisticated business management software to small- to mid-size companies, predominately manufacturers. As the xTuple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Suite has grown over the years, we have accomplished that mission.
And we have just scratched the surface: there are in excess of 300,000 manufacturing companies in the U.S. alone with sales of $1-50 million. The global market for manufacturing is many times higher.
And what about Distribution? Retail? Professional services? Government? Nonprofits? Medical? All of these organizations need ERP, too. With the open source PostBooks® Edition of xTuple, we have a FREE offering for those markets that is hard to beat. xTuple Commercial Editions continue to evolve as well. In addition to the Manufacturing Edition of xTuple ERP (formerly OpenMFG), the xTuple Distribution Edition adds more sophisticated features for distributors and retailers.

The Distribution, Manufacturing and Enterprise Editions of xTuple are commercially-licensed software. xTuple partners earn generous commissions on sales of the Commercial Editions, as well as most other xTuple offerings, including XTN network services and PostgreSQL database offerings.
Typically, Partners earn the bulk of their business on implementation services – working with customers of both the FREE and Commercial Editions to get the software up and running at a local customer site, capturing (and perhaps coding) any required enhancements to the base product. 100% of that implementation (and software development) revenue is yours to keep.
xTuple HQ can help – as much or as little as you require. Pre-sales, sales and marketing, demos, technical assistance, data migration, development, training, you name it. We are here to help our partners, not to compete with them. We are building a strong channel business, which leverages the advantages of open source to the benefit of all concerned – customer, partner, vendor.
xTuple hosts regular week-long training events on xTuple business management software functionality and reporting (intended for operational users), as well as developer-oriented technical training. Classes are open to the public at a minimal cost. And most of our Partner Programs include training, at no additional charge, as a valuable part of the package.
